Question 4 Resources Template and Reflective Paper

As previously mentioned, your Question 4 Resources and Reflective Paper are due this week. This assignment is one component of the Capstone Project for the program. By this time, you should have gathered data for Question 4 from the Five Essential Questions. These Questions will comprise an Action Plan for Continuous School Improvement. The Five Essential Questions are:

1. Where are we now? (Assess Current Organization)
2. Where do we want to be? (Identify Targets)
3. How did we get to where we are now? (Identify Gaps)
4. How are we going to get where we want to be? (Develop Action Plan)
5. Is what we are doing making a difference? (Develop On-going Assessment and School Improvement)

This assignment is composed of two parts:

• Part 1: The Question 4 Resources Template (Completed)
• Part 2: Reflective Paper

You will use the Question 4 Resources Template to record the data (The data collection has been completed. I recorded the data.) This Template will ultimately become part of the Action Plan.  The completed Question 4 Resources Completed Template is attached.  I repeat you do not have to complete the Question 4 Resources Template as it is already completed. 

For part two, you will write a two- to three-page Reflective Paper where you will summarize the data, pointing out anything you found that might have surprised you, note circumstances that may be reflected in the data, and other pertinent comments. Be sure to include the NC Standards for School Executives. Please make sure you underline each standard that is described in your paper as well.

Once again, just to reiterate the parameters for the reflective paper: Summarize the data, pointing out anything you found that might have surprised you, circumstances that may be reflected in the data, and anything else you wish to include. I am looking more for quality than quantity and your ability to begin to synthesize the data as you move toward your Action Plan for Continuous School Improvement.

Your assignment is due on the Foliotek website by 11:55 p.m. Eastern Time on Sunday of Week 6. Save your assignment as a Microsoft Word document. PDF format is not acceptable for written assignments. The name of the file should be your first initial and last name, followed by an underscore and the name of the assignment, and an underscore and the date. An example is shown below:
