Milestone 1: Final Project Initial Thoughts

In preparation for my final project, I have identified three areas of management that I am interested in researching. All these areas hold importance in management, and I propose them deeply to comprehend their organizational purposes and implications better. Below are my selected areas of interest, along with elucidations of my interest in each topic:

Managing Ethics and Social Responsibility (Chapter 5):

· Interest Explanation: I am captivated explicitly by the ethical dimensions of management and its obligation in shaping the social responsibility of institutions. In a contemporary interconnected and socially aware world, comprehending how businesses can contribute optimistically to society while upholding ethical standards is vital. I am interested in delving into how corporations balance profitability with moral decision-making and social responsibility to generate a sustainable and accountable business culture.

· Organizational purpose: The objective of researching this area is to understand how organizations can effectually incorporate ethical values and social responsibility into their primary operations. Understanding the policies and practices promoting ethical behaviour and social responsibility can improve corporate governance and reputation management.
