Respond to my classmates for this week’s discussion question.

Review the “How do I Know I am Learning” resource located in the Topic 2 Resources and answer the following questions:

· What is the relationship between the topic objectives, the assignment, and the rubric? How is each component important to completing an assignment?

· What are some strategies you have learned from the readings and assignments in this course so far that will help you complete your assignments both accurately and efficiently?

The relationship between the objectives, assignment, and rubrics is that it builds up your overall GPA. The benchmark assignment assesses your learning but doesn’t have more weight in grading. So the assignments are the core of what I will be doing as a student. The objectives and rubrics help me understand what the instructor is looking for and how they will be grading. Once again, the assignment is at the core.

Some strategies I have learned are to start early and ask questions. That way I have a clear understanding of what I need to accomplish. Another strategy is to set up a dedicated time to work on school work. For me, I start studying as soon as I get home from work. This is to avoid procrastination and laziness. That’s what I have employed so far in this class.

· The connection among topic objectives, rubrics, and assignments they are all elements that collectively work together to provide students with a comprehensive grasp of the assignment’s motive and enable them to better understand the the goal of the task/ assignment.

· A strategy that I have learned from the topic one resource reads is the Pomodoro method. I believe this method of procrastination-avoidance will support me in managing my time effective and ensure that all my school work is completed in a timely manner. After completing the GCU Resources and Writing Expectations worksheet, I have more of an understanding of all the features and resources that are accessible to me that will guide me in a successful path in my online experience
